Homecoming Window Painting

Those were cool, but apparently we weren't tame enough senior year. We did one titled, "Just Another One Knight Stand," which was painted in the top window, with "Gang Bang the Mustangs" in the bottom window.  Marnie Moran lent us her talent and drew two horses for us, standing on their haunches - and Marnie could draw incredible horses in 4th grade, so it was phenomenal art.  I think Jim Fletcher or Karen Petersen drew the knight.  Anyway, the knight had speared the horses, there was a good amount of blood - ok, so it was kinda gory, LOL - and the artwork and color was, in my opinion, some of the best on Circle Drive that year.

We got disqualified and had to take the window down because of the "Gang Bang the Mustangs" line.  I seem to recall that we could have taken the line out, but wouldn't because Mr. Arseneau and (fill in principal's name here - I've forgotten; what can I say, I spent more time in Arseneau's office :D) thought "Just Another One Knight Stand" was CUTE.  Cute! Their term!  So, nope, no editing, the whole thing came down.

Anyway, I always loved those windows!  I'm sure all the talented artists we went to school with did, too, because it was a great way to get their creations seen.
