What's "the smoking lot" about, anyway?  And remember, it's rude to laugh at retards :D

Of COURSE I remember the smoking lot, I'm just not sure what the forum is supposed to be about.  Nothing ever HAPPENED in the smoking lot ... things HAPPENED when we availed ourselves of the open campus policy :P. 

Well, open campus, except for 3rd hour, because of announcements and assemblies, I think.  And, of course, I had study hall 3rd hour every semester except second semester of senior year, when I had Philosophy with Mohrdeick (sp?).  I had such a habit of being off school grounds by then - and doing, um, other things - that attending a 3rd hour class was almost like going thru physical withdrawal.  Kinda sucked, cuz I liked Phi.  Anyway, I had every avenue of getting off school grounds before things shut down third hour down pat.  Ya know, I was at least part of the reason they installed the post in the middle of the sidewalk by the gates at the back of school ;).  Barry O'Donnell watched me drive off school grounds one 3rd hour thru the gap on the sidewalk, and I swear I saw him cuss, LOL.  It became a matter of pride that I never attended more than one study hall (first day of freshman year, and I thought, screw THIS!) in four years, and a locked gate wasn't gonna change that, by God!

So, again, what's the Smoking Lot thread supposed to be about? (I'm still thick-skulled, too. :D)
